The hosts were really lovely and very helpful. The location was fine for us as we don’t mind a walk and only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the centre. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, lovely tea tray and toiletries. Good choice of breakfast the next morning. Great ingredients, cooked perfectly. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return next time I visit Canterbury.

Great stay
We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and given lots of information about Canterbury. We had the suite which was very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts on both days was very enjoyable with plenty of choice for continental and cooked. Will definitely book again.

Lovely Victorian town house, exceptional well located for the Cathedral and town centre. And has parking. Very clean and tidy and has all the facilities you expect. Terry and Chris who run it are great hosts, very welcoming & knowledgeable

This is the perfect B&B… spotlessly clean, welcoming, stylish, super-comfy beds, walking distance to Canterbury centre, cosy, great breakfasts…& a Tunnocks teacake on the welcome tray.

Weekend getaway treat
Myself and my husband booked a couple of nights in this B&B to catch up with friends in Canterbury over the weekend. Location was excellent and a short walk, about 10 minutes into the city centre. The B&B itself was immaculate. There are renovations going on to the front of the building, however this did not impede access in any way. The entrance was freshly decorated and it was reassuring to see that the lodgings are secure by way of a ring doorbell.
Terry met us on arrival and showed us to our room, which mirrored the rest of the house in its pristine condition.
Terry gave us information about the local area with a handy map identifying our location and surrounding attractions.
Bed was comfortable with additional pillows and blankets in the double wardrobe. Heating was on and had thermostatic control and the towel rail in the bathroom had a switch to allow self operation when required. There are tea and coffee facilities in the room and fresh milk available from the fridge in the breakfast room which is accessible 24/7. Tea cakes and biscuits were replaced daily when the room was being refreshed. This was a nice touch.
Breakfast was a hearty fayre with fresh fruit, croissants and cheeses and preserves freely available with a request for any hot food to be made the night before on a menu slip that was dropped into a basket in the entrance hall the evening before. Cooked English breakfast was fresh local produce and piping hot with additional toast or bread on request if desired.
The host was very attentive and we would definitely recommend staying there, as we may well do on future trips.
Many thanks Kay and Alan

The Windcheap B&B is located in an excellent position within walking distance of Canterbury city centre. Terry the host was very friendly and welcoming and was always providing helpful information. The room was beautifully decorated and clean. I would certainly recommend this to anyone.

Excellent accommodation and good location.
The Wincheap exceeded our expectations from the the information we recived beforehand and the welcome we received on arrival. Terry and Chris are excellent hosts and the accommodation is comfirtable and spotless. Terry cooks a good breakfast. The car parking is a bonus as Canterbury car parks seemed very busy. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the Cathedral.
